How our Pups are Raised:  Photos below are of the "dog room" in our house and our kennel. The photo on the left shows two  enclosed whelping boxes.  When we have a female in waiting, they enjoy the cozy area.  Pups are born and stay in our house until a week after they are weaned.  At that time they become a 24/7 clean-up chore so they are then graduated to a puppy area in our kennel which is heated and cooled year round and has all the amenities of home including a radio playing so the pups become accustomed to various sounds. On pretty days the pups go out into a puppy play area in the general exercise yard which surrounds the kennel and are brought inside in the afternoon.  When the pups are about 7 weeks old, we bring them back into the house where they have run of our doggie room and can go outside into the yard to play via a doggie door.  It normally takes less than a week before they are doing their business outside and are no longer a clean-up nightmare.  View a sample of our pet puppy contract.

*We  sometimes have  young adult Cardigans  that we have decided to place in good homes.  If you don't feel it is the right time to go through the stages of a young puppy, one of these dogs who is already past the chewing stage, for the most part,  (no dog is ever really totally past the chewing stage)  and is housetrained or crate trained might be just right!  Contact us if you're interested in an older Cardigan.

Mission Statement:  We are happiest in the company of dogs and the people who love them. We breed  to   1.) obtain a quality Cardigan for our show/breeding program    2.) because we love raising puppies    3.) because we enjoy providing pups to people who have the need for a quality Cardigan Corgi in their lives.
