Pet Puppy Purchase Agreement:

The buyer hereby agrees to purchase the AKC Cardigan Welsh Corgi  (male/female) _____  puppy, color of pup _______,  with litter #_________  from the litter  by______________ out of _______________ bred by ____________ , born__________ for the price of_______. plus transportation expenses of ______ (not considered part of the purchase price) .

The seller, __________________ agrees to furnish the buyer _______________  with a pedigree and a health record  including all shot and worming records.  The AKC registration application will be forwarded to the buyer  upon receipt of a valid dated veterinarian certification of surgical spay/neuter.  The buyer understands that this puppy will be eligible for limited registration with the American Kennel Club.

THIS ANIMAL IS GUARANTEED AS FOLLOWS:

1.  To be in good physical condition for the first 72 hours after the time of delivery.   If during this initial licensed veterinary health check, the  veterinarian finds the puppy to have a  health problem  that is not routinely treatable and will render the dog unsuitable as a pet, the seller will (1)  upon return within one week of the puppy , replace the puppy with another puppy of comparable quality should the seller own or be able to secure such a dog within a six month period of time, (2) refund the full purchase price upon return of the puppy.   The choice between replacement or  refund is at the seller's option.   All transportation costs are at the expense of the buyer.

2.  To be free of Progressive Retinal Atrophy.

3.  To always have a home with the breeder with no questions asked,  if the buyer for any reason cannot or decides not to provide a home for the dog.  If the dog is returned to the breeder prior to spay/neuter and  during the first five (5) months of its life,  half of the purchase price will be refunded.   Shipping or transportation expenses will not be refunded.  If the dog is returned after 6 months of age, no refund is applicable.

THE BUYER AGREES:

1.  Not to sell or give this puppy away prior to having it spayed/neutered.  

2.  Not to register this pup with any other registry other than AKC without written consent of the breeder.

3.  The buyer certifies that he/she has adequate facilities to prevent  breeding of this dog,  and further understands that  an accidental breeding will be considered as neglect and a breech of this contract.  It is understood that  the breeder/seller  has the legal right to immediately repossess the dog and it's offspring as well as collect court and attorney costs in order to do so if this portion of this contract is breached.

4. The buyer  further agrees to have the puppy spayed or altered on or before the puppy has reached nine months of age and mail a copy of the spay/neuter certificate from the vet to the breeder/seller.. 

5.   To never turn this dog over to a shelter of any kind and understand that a penalty of $1000.00  plus any costs associated with repossession of this dog will be assessed if the dog is ever relegated to a shelter. 

6.) To provide adequate nutrition, veterinary care (minimum of one veterinary office visit yearly), exercise, human companionship, and shelter for this dog. 

7.) The buyer understands that any breech of the aforementioned agreements voids all guarantees and gives the breeder/seller the right to repossess the dog and all offspring,  with all costs of repossession being at the buyer's expense.

The buyer and the seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this dog.  Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein and any modifications made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective. There are no oral or implied agreements regarding this purchase.    This document must be signed by both the seller and the buyer to be a binding legal contract.
