CH Twinroc Max-In-A-Million:
I was asked to show Ch Chandler's Critic's Choise for two days at one
of our Nationals in a terrible rain storm here in Texas. Believe me,
we could have used a rowboat! Instead of a handling fee, I asked if
instead I could breed to the dog whose call name was "Oliver".
Finally the time came and we sent "Melody" to Oliver and we had a lovely
litter. One of our puppy requests was for the pick- of -the -litter. I was convinced
that a particular male was the pick, and we sent him to his new home. The
second pick (to me, not Doris who had graded him 1st) was Ch. Twinroc
Max-In-A-Million.
What can I say? Doris was right again as he turned out to be a top Special
and multi-group winner as well as garnering many placings. He was a Megan
winner, and BEST of Opposite to the great Maggie at the National. He also
won a couple of Veteran Sweeps and Veteran class winner. He also proved
to be a top producer as he sired probably the best litter in which I've
ever been involved. Sadly, after that litter, the PRA test revealed him to be a
carrier and he was removed from the gene pool.
